Football for amputees: Matchday 2

Last weekend, our amputee footballers were away in Annecy for the second stage of the championship. Invited to attend the match between FC Annecy and Rodez AF on the Friday evening, the players were able to enjoy a moment of bonding with their weekend opponents before entering the competition the following day.

On Saturday, in the snow, the Olympian team played a skilful match that allowed them to clinch a fine 4-2 victory against FC Annecy.

On Sunday, despite clearly dominating the match against Phoenix FC, the Marseille players conceded a goal in the last seconds of the match and lost 1-0. 

A weekend rich in learning and cohesion. The season continues, and the Marseille football club's amputee footballers are more motivated than ever!

After Marseille and Annecy, the third round of the championship will take place in Paris in May.
