Braga-OM (1-1) : OM earns a draw

FIRST HALF

In a stadium they know well, the Olympiens faced Braga for their fourth preparation match. Jorge Sampaoli started Steve Mandanda, who just returned to training. For the first time, the Olympien coach lined up Ünder on the right side of the attack. His three-man defense did not change compared to Servette, while in the middle there was Gerson, Kamara and Gueye. 

Hindered by the Portuguese pressure, Marseille conceded a goal through Abel Ruiz (19th) and were trailing at the interval.

SECOND HALF

After the break, the coach made two changes with Dieng and Peres, his debut, replacing Benedetto and Amavi. Very quickly, the Olympians equalized with a left footed shot in the top corner of the net from Payet, who took advantage of a bad deflection from the Portuguese defense. The entry of Bamba Dieng was interesting, the young striker intercepted the ball and went to the goal but his shot was pushed back by the Portuguese keeper. He even scored a second goal but was flagged offside. 
 

Jorge Sampaoli took advantage of the last quarter of an hour to give playing time to new recruits Guendouzi and Saliba. In the end, OM saw out a 1-1 draw with Braga and will be back in Portugal on Sunday, July 25, for another preparation match against Benfica in Lisbon.
