Kondogbia is Olympien
An RC Lens academy graduate, Geoffrey Kondogbia played his first professional match at the age of 17. Regularly called up for the French youth national team, the midfielder won the U20 World Cup, playing alongside Jordan Veretout in midfield for the French team. After several appearances for the French national team, he joined the Central African Republic national team in 2018, where he became the captain.
Throughout his career, Geoffrey Kondogbia has played for clubs accustomed to European competitions, from Sevilla FC to Inter Milan, and then AS Monaco. After two seasons in Italy, he returned to Spain to join Valencia CF, where he became a key player under Marcelino's guidance. Together, they notably won the Copa del Rey against FC Barcelona in 2019 and took the club to the UEFA Champions League in two consecutive seasons.
After playing over a hundred matches wearing the Valencia jersey, he joined Atlético Madrid and was crowned champion of Spain in 2021.
