Lilian Brassier in Blue and White
Trained at Stade Rennais, Lilian Brassier made his professional debut in Ligue 2 in 2019-2020, while on loan at Valenciennes FC, a club with whom he made 27 appearances. Spotted by Stade Brestois 29, he arrived in Finistère the following season, where his impact in one-on-one situations and his heading ability were appreciated from his first steps in Ligue 1.
Renowned for his versatility and adaptability in defence, as well as his left-footed finishing, the former France U20 international made his mark over the seasons thanks to his consistency, becoming a permanent fixture in the Brest team.
Playing 30 games (3 goals) in 2023-24, all as a starter, he played a key role in Stade Brestois 29's historic season, which saw the club finish on the podium and earn a place in the Champions League.
With over 100 games and 5 goals to his name in Ligue 1, Lilian Brassier has become one of Ligue 1's best-known centre-backs at just 24 years of age.
