Trained at Ituano FC in his native Brazil, Luiz Felipe Ramos began his professional career in 2015 in the colours of his training club. Eight games were enough to attract the attention of a number of European scouts, and he signed for SS Lazio in the summer of 2016 before going straight out on loan to US Salernitana in order to gain experience and accumulate playing time in Serie B. He scored his first goal in his first game for the club and returned to the Italian capital for the 2017/2018 season. A solid and versatile defender, Luiz Felipe Ramos soon established himself in the Lazio defence under Italian tactician Simone Inzaghi. After making 144 appearances for the Biancocelesti and winning one Italian Cup (2019) and two Italian Supercups (2017 and 2019), he signed for Spanish side Real Betis Balompié in 2022.
At the Estadio Benito-Villamarín, the native of Colina in Brazil impressed with his personality and leadership, and enjoyed a full season, playing 34 games. After making around 30 appearances in the European Cup with SS Lazio and Real Betis Balompié, the experienced defender decided to move to Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2023, where he joined Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté at Al-Ittihad.
A veteran of Brazil's youth teams, Luiz Felipe Ramos chose to represent Italy and even earned his first cap for the Nazionale on 14 June 2022 in a Nations League match against Germany.
Welcome to OM, Luiz!
