A native of Zell am See in Austria, Amar Dedić spent his entire career as a full-back in the country, including spells with Sturm Graz and FC RB Salzburg.
In the 2019/20 season, the versatile right-back went out on loan to FC Liefering and played his first professional match in July 2019, at the age of 16. After making 50 appearances in the Austrian second division, the full-back, who is capable of playing on both flanks as well as in the centre of defence, continued his progress and was loaned out to Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC in June 2021.
With Wolfsberger, the Bosnian international enjoyed another successful season, playing 37 games and demonstrating the extent of his attacking talent with three goals. Returning to his hometown club FC RB Salzburg, Amar Dedić established himself in the Austrian champions' defence and went on to win the Austrian Bundesliga with 27 games, one goal and four assists in the 2022/23 season.
His rise did not stop there: Sead Kolašinac's compatriot became captain of his club and has already played 19 matches in the Champions League, making him an experienced player on the European stage despite his young age.
A hard-working, hard-hitting player, the Bosnian possesses a high volume of play and genuine attacking qualities, which opened the doors to the Bosnian national team in March 2022. At just 22 years of age, he has already won 16 caps for his country.
Welcome to OM Amar!
