Our players beat RC Lens on Sunday at the OM Campus, thanks to a goal from Mama Diop.

RC Lens' last defeat in the Second Division was on 22 September. Since then, the northern club had only managed draws and victories, which had allowed it to take a large lead in the standings. This streak came to an end on Sunday 13 April at the OM Campus. From the very first minutes of the match, our Olympiennes put the pressure on the Lensoises. It paid off with a goal from our Senegalese striker, Mama Diop, in the tenth minute. Frédéric Gonçalves' team managed to keep this lead until the final whistle.

In the standings, OM are third with 33 points, one point behind Toulouse FC. On the next matchday, Sunday 20 April at 1pm, OM will travel to Orléans, eighth in the league.
