Medhi Benatia appointed Director of Football

After working as a sporting advisor since November 2023, Medhi Benatia is continuing his adventure at a club that is close to his heart, alongside the President, Pablo Longoria, who was behind his return to OM.

Medhi Benatia was fully involved with the President in the launch of the club's ambitious long-term sporting project, as well as in last summer's mercato, and has been appointed the club's Director of Football.

The former Morocco captain, who trained at l'OM and then went on to play for some of Europe's most prestigious clubs, including Bayern Munich and Juventus FC, will now be in charge of the club's entire sporting policy, from the academy to the first team.
