OM amputee football team kicks off league campaign
Last weekend, our players had their second training session, which ended with a match against the U14s of FC La Castellane, a club created and supported by Treizième Homme.
Now, all eyes are on the first day of the championship, which takes place this weekend in Marseille.
Come and cheer our team on Saturday and Sunday!

Schedule for day 1 of the championship
Saturday 8 February at 5.30pm: OM - FC ANNECY
Sunday 9 February at 9am: FC ANNECY - FC BOUAYE
Sunday 9 February at 2pm: OM - FC BOUAYE
ACCESS
The matches will take place on pitch 2 of the OM Campus. Access will be free and through the gate on the Avenue Ludovic Legre (Weldom) side.
The maximum capacity is 151 spectators.
RULES
Each match lasts 50 minutes (2 halves of 25 minutes with a 10-minute break).
A team is made up of 6 players (5 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper). The game is played with metal or carbon walking sticks and without prostheses, on pitches measuring a maximum of 55 x 35 metres.
Players may not deliberately use their crutches or stumps to push, control or block the ball. If the action is involuntary, play continues.
The use of a crutch against a player results in exclusion and a penalty kick.
Offside does not apply and substitutions are unlimited. The goalkeeper may only use his valid hand to control the ball and is not allowed to leave his penalty area on pain of a penalty kick.
