Amir Murillo extends the OM adventure
After a successful spell with Anderlecht (134 matches, 14 goals, 17 assists), Amir Murillo joined Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 2023. A combative, enduring and consistent player, the Panamanian international (81 caps, 9 goals, 8 assists) has established himself over the course of the matches and become an essential link in the system of Jean-Louis Gasset as well as that of Roberto De Zerbi. After 18 months playing for Olympique de Marseille, the Panamanian has played 50 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists in the red and white of Marseille.
Amir Murillo, who recently scored in OM's stunning 5-1 victory over AS Saint-Etienne on 15 March and is the third outfield player to have played the most games this season, has now signed a contract extension that will keep him at Olympique de Marseille until 2028.
Congratulations, Amir!
