After scoring three goals against Brest at the Orange Vélodrome, Amine Gouiri expresses his joy at securing all three points in style and talks about his acrobatic goal that sent the stadium into raptures.
‘It's a great evening, we won and we're back in second place. We won in style: a hat-trick and three points. It was a perfect evening. There are three games left, and we hope to win them all to finish second. It's one of the best goals of my career, maybe even in Ligue 1... It's very emotional, I'm very happy. At half-time, I was thinking about the hat-trick and then, just before I came on, I scored it. I thought I was offside, so I'm very happy. Before the game, it stung a bit to be fourth, but we weren't thinking about that. We were thinking more about playing well, putting in a good performance and, above all, winning. We accomplished our mission. We're second and there are three games left.’
