Olympique de Marseille are delighted to announce the signing of Jeffrey de Lange from Go Ahead Eagles. The 26-year-old goalkeeper has joined the club after passing his medical.

Jeffrey de Lange began his training at the prestigious AFC Ajax Amsterdam academy, with whom he won two Dutch U19 championship titles in 2016 and 2017. A 1.90m goalkeeper who can use both feet, the Amstelveen native earned his first caps for the Oranje's U17, U18 and U20 teams during his training.

A promising goalkeeper, Jeffrey de Lange signed for FC Twente and took his first steps in the professional world on October 30, 2021 in a match against PSV Eindhoven. Spotted by the Go Ahead Eagles, the Dutch goalkeeper signed for the Deventer-based club in the east of the Netherlands in the summer of 2022.

An indisputable starter for the Eagles over the last 2 seasons, playing in every Eredivisie match, the 26-year-old's 11 clean sheets last season made him one of the top goalkeepers in the Dutch D1. More accustomed to playing for survival, the Go Ahead Eagles finished 5th in the league in the 2023/2024 season, and secured a place in the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Conference League thanks in part to Jeffrey de Lange's solid performances in goal.

Welcome to OM, Jeffrey!
