An 18th victory, Amine Gouiri's hat trick, Adrien Rabiot's two assists, OM's goals at home... Olympique de Marseille's statistics are on fire after their victory against Stade Brestois.

Against Brest on Sunday evening at the Orange Vélodrome, Olympique de Marseille secured their 18th victory of the 2024-2025 McDonald's Ligue 1 season. The win was secured thanks to three goals from Amine Gouiri and one from Mason Greenwood.

The Algerian striker scored his fifth, sixth and seventh goals of the season in an Olympique shirt. It was the second hat-trick of his career, after the one he scored for Rennes in Ajaccio on 21 May 2023. It is also the first hat trick by a Marseille player since Arkadiusz Milik's on 4 February 2022 against Angers.

Amine Gouiri joined Olympique de Marseille at the end of January 2025 and quickly settled into the Marseille team. In less than three months and 15 matches, he has already been involved in eleven goals. In addition to his seven goals, he has provided four assists.

Speaking of assists, Adrien Rabiot provided two against Stade Brestois, one for Mason Greenwood and one for Amine Gouiri. This is the second time he has done this in the same match. He is now involved in nine goals in 2025, with six goals and three assists.

At home, our Olympians have won their last three Ligue 1 matches. They won each time by scoring at least three goals (3-2 against Toulouse, 5-1 against Montpellier and 4-1 against Brest). This is a first in over thirty years. The last time Marseille players had such a run was in May 1993 (OM 5-0 Strasbourg, OM 4-1 Lille and OM 3-1 PSG).

In front of their home crowd at the Orange Vélodrome, Roberto De Zerbi's players have scored 28 goals since the start of 2025. In the European top five, only Bayern Munich, with 29 goals, has done better.
