Our U18 team was eliminated from the Gambardella Cup by Toulouse on penalties.

The holders have fallen. Having won the Gambardella Cup in 2024, OM have been eliminated from the 2025 edition in the round of 32. However, at home to Toulouse FC, Christian Bracconi's side took an early 2-0 lead thanks to a goal fromAdam Nosel and an own goal from Alexis Vossah.

After the break, TFC were awarded two penalties in the space of five minutes. Both were converted by Enzo Faty. The players from the pink city even took the lead with a quarter of an hour to go through Ael Belangote. Our Olympians refused to give up and pushed right to the end to draw level. Their efforts were rewarded with a fine goal fromUgo Lamare. With the score tied at three-all at the end of added time, it was penalties that decided the tie.

The Toulouse keeper did himself proud by saving Marseille's first two spot-kicks. It was a gap that Marseille were never able to close.
