A win and some historic figures
Olympique de Marseille's 5-1 win over AS Saint-Etienne last Saturday allowed several significant milestones to be passed:
- The Orange Vélodrome stadium welcomed 66,199 supporters, which is now the new attendance record for the Marseille stadium. It is even the absolute attendance record for a McDonald's Ligue 1 match, excluding relocated games.
- OM has reached the milestone of 1,200 victories in the top division and remains the club with the most matches won at the highest level.
- This victory also coincides with the Olympiens' 100th win under the presidency of Pablo Longoria, who has a win ratio of 51.55% since taking office in February 2021.
