OM Foundation launches #OMFONDATIONWEEK
In this year 2020 marked by an unprecedented economic and health crisis, OM Foundation has intensified its commitment and rethought its actions to meet the most urgent needs, especially during periods of lockdown. At the same time, our traditional annual Gala Dinner, the main event to share our actions and raise funds, had to be cancelled. This is an opportunity for us to reinvent ourselves and experiment with new levers.
Thus, OM Foundation will organise the 1st #OMFONDATIONWEEK from 7 to 13 December 2020, aimed at collecting funds dedicated to the development of social programmes carried by OM Foundation.
On the programme :
-
From 7 to 13 December: a digital raffle accessible to everyone, everywhere in the world (tickets at 2 euros online on om.fr) with around twenty prizes to be won (OM jerseys signed by players, virtual meeting with a player, invitations to OM Tour, etc.).
-
From 8 December to 13 December: a digital auction of exceptional lots, in partnership with the Marseille auction house Maison R&C. Will be on offer: jerseys worn and signed by our players, "120 years anniversary" OM jersey signed by numerous club legends, OM jersey and spikes signed by Usain Bolt, Lakers jersey signed by Magic Johnson, pairs of studs signed by our players, etc.
-
Announcement of the organisation of the Orange Vélodrome Trail on Saturday 10 April 2021, which will be placed under the sign of solidarity with the creation of the "Charity" pack for companies (opportunity to take part in an exceptional 8km race while supporting OM Foundation). Preview sales of this offer until 31 January 2021.
For Grégoire KOPP, Director of Communications and Impact of Olympique de Marseille: "As a football club above all else, Olympique de Marseille also has, through its reputation and the enthusiasm it generates, a strong social responsibility to assume. OM Foundation is an indispensable and efficient vehicle, which knows how to evolve each year to better fulfil its mission. Let's bet that the launch of this #OMFONDATIONWEEK, a new form of fundraising, will be a success!"
For Lucie VENET, Executive Director of OM Foundation: "This season, we wanted to create an original and impactful event to address our entire community around the world. The diversity of the schemes on offer will give the OM family the opportunity to get involved with us and once again demonstrate its great generosity. This high point dedicated to our foundation will enable us to raise the funds essential to the development of our various action programmes and to highlight all our social and charitable commitments".
