Roberto De Zerbi's reaction at the press conference following his team's two-goal win over Angers SCO at the Stade Raymond-Kopa.

‘I'm very happy with what Bennacer did. It was as if he'd been playing with us for two or three years, even though it's only been three days. That's really good. Gouiri also had a very good game. He's a very strong player and even he doesn't realise his potential. He's a complete player. We mustn't forget Dedić too. He came on very well. Apart from these individual performances, it was really a great match from the whole team in terms of patience, control, the fact that they never got discouraged and never rushed as well. We really played like a great team, even in the first half. In the second half, we forced the issue by taking Merlin off and using Gouiri as an outside forward. It really was a great performance.

The corners were well taken tonight by everyone, Bennacer, Gouiri and Højbjerg. We had a chance from one of the last corners. In this kind of match, set-pieces can really be decisive, they can be turning points. It's important that we get them right and tonight everyone did well.

You're always asking me that question... There are still 13 games to go, so there's still a long way to go. A draw or a defeat and we can catch up quickly. Monaco and Nice are very close, other clubs are coming back, Lens and Brest are having a good time. We need to look behind us as well as ahead. It's important to aim higher. It can be a frustrating, even humiliating championship. We may not achieve our objectives, that's fine, but we have to be respectful and humble about our ambitions. We have to aim to look ahead, maybe not necessarily straight away, but in the future at OM, which is also what the president Pablo Longoria, Medhi Benatia and players like Rabiot, Bennacer, Højbjerg Rulli, Balerdi and Kondogbia want... These are players who aren't here to come second. We don't like to lose.’
